Homestead - Cade's Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

During the fall of 2016, I visited relatives in Knoxville, Tennessee, and they shared the beauty of their state with a road trip into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Cade’s Cove is a repository of historical cabins and buildings from when that Cove was settled in the 1820s. As we toured the Cove, I could feel the historical depth of the area and envision the joys and struggles the settlers experienced.
